Learn AI on the work you already do.
Hands-on classes for professional teams, built around your workflows and your vocabulary. Your people practise on the tasks they did last week, and leave knowing which ones to hand over, which to keep, and how to check the difference.
What a class covers
Every class is assembled from these modules and weighted toward your work. A tax practice and a litigation team get different examples, different exercises and different warnings.
Where it is strong, and where it isn't
AI is excellent at a narrow set of tasks and unremarkable at most of the rest. We map both against your team's actual week, so nobody wastes a month on the wrong half.
Pushing hard inside your expertise
The closer a task sits to what you know, the harder you can drive it and the faster you spot a wrong answer. We teach people to start there, not with whatever the demo showed.
Checking that it worked
Fast, specific ways to verify output in your domain: what to look at, what to spot-check, and which mistakes these tools make confidently. Verification is what turns a neat trick into daily use.
When to let it run
Three questions decide it: does it save real time, can you tell it worked, and do you want the artifact or the understanding? Participants run their own tasks through all three.
Putting checkpoints in the right place
One well-placed check lets everything around it run quickly. We find those places in a real multi-step process from your firm, so the rest stops needing nervous review.
What not to paste where
Client confidentiality and data handling in plain terms: which tools are fine for which material, what your firm's policy should say, and how to stay inside it without slowing down.
Taught on your work, not a generic course
Training on its own produces enthusiasm and very little change. Ours is tied to real tasks from the start, so the first thing people use it for on Monday is something they already practised.
We learn your work
A short call before the class to learn your workflows, collect a handful of real (or sanitised) tasks, and agree which tools and data are in bounds.
We build the class
Exercises, examples and vocabulary come from your field. Nobody spends the session summarising a sample PDF about something they will never touch.
Hands on keyboards
Most of the time is people working their own tasks with both of us in the room, catching what goes wrong while it is still cheap to explain.
Leave with a shortlist
Each person leaves with the tasks they will hand over, the checks they will run on them, and the ones they will keep doing themselves.
Formats
Up to 20 people per class. Pick the shape that fits how your team learns.
Single session
One sitting focused on one or two workflows. The fastest way to get a whole team using the same tools the same way.
Multi-session series
Spaced sessions with real work in between. People bring back what worked and what didn't, and the next session starts from there.
Leadership session
For partners and principals deciding where AI belongs in the firm: what to adopt, what to forbid, and what to ask of the people using it.
Hosted group
For clubs, associations and member groups who want a class for their members, built around the kind of work that room has in common.
One clear price
The same rate as on our main page, with nothing hidden behind a call.
Per seat
Single or multi-session classes, built around your workflows. Preparation with your team is included.
A full room
The usual shape for a firm: one team, one class, everyone working from the same playbook afterwards.
After the class
If a workflow from the room is worth building or auditing properly, we'll scope it as its own small piece of work. Nothing is bundled in.
Taught by the two of us
We use these tools every day in our own work, which is where the warnings in the class come from.

Eric has spent his career working with emerging technologies, from fintech to AI. He builds practical AI solutions for small businesses and uses the same tools throughout his own professional and personal life, so he knows firsthand what works.

Jack spent twelve years as a U.S. Naval Intelligence officer analyzing complex systems and workflows, and took advanced AI/ML coursework at Stanford. He teaches the habit that matters most: knowing where your own judgment is required.
Before you book
Our team has never used AI. Is the class too advanced?+
No. We pitch each class to the room after the call beforehand. Teams starting from zero often move fastest, because there are no bad habits to unlearn.
Some of us already use it every day. Will they be bored?+
The exercises are your own work, so experienced people go further on the same task: harder delegation, longer chains, tighter checks. They are usually the ones who get the most out of the checkpoint module.
Which tools do you teach?+
The ones your firm has approved, or is about to. If you haven't chosen yet, we'll say plainly which ones fit your work and your data rules before the class, not during it.
Can we use real client material in the exercises?+
Only what we have agreed in writing beforehand. Most classes use sanitised versions of real tasks, which teach the same lessons without anything confidential leaving your control.
Is one class enough?+
For many teams, yes: the point is that people leave already using it on real work. If something from the room deserves to be built properly, we'll tell you, and you can decide then.
Which work should your team learn on?
Tell us who would be in the room and what eats their week. We'll reply with a suggested format and a class outline.
